The Casey Cares Foundation Names Mark Norris, Co-Founder of Its Board
(Baltimore, MD) – The Casey Cares Foundation, a 501 (c) 3 non-profit, today announced that Mark Norris, the co-founder and managing member of Vallit Advisors, has joined as a member of its Board.
Casey Baynes, founder and executive director of the Casey Cares Foundation, expresses, “We are looking forward to him be a leader in the non-profit world at the Casey Cares Foundation and to his valuable contributions as we continue our mission of supporting critically ill kids and their families.”
As a graduate of the University of Baltimore, Mr. Norris has over 42 years of accounting and business operations experience and has been providing business valuation consulting services for 28 years. He has worked in the construction and real estate industries and in public accounting firms where he has had a leadership role in the development of the business valuation practice. Mr. Norris has also received more than 1,435 hours of continuing professional education related to business valuation and litigation consulting services.
Mr. Norris is a Certified Public Accountant (CPA), Certified Valuation Analyst (CVA), Accredited in Business Valuation (ABV), Master Analyst in Financial Forensics (MAFF) and an Accredited Senior Appraiser (ASA) by the American Society of Appraisers. In September of 2021, Mark was recognized by the Maryland-DC State Chapter Board of National Association of Certified
Valuators and Analysts (NACVA) for his outstanding contribution to NACVA and the business valuation profession. The Casey Cares Foundation provides ongoing and uplifting programs and activities to families with critically ill children in eight states and Washington, D.C. Founded in 2000 and serving just a handful of families, Casey Cares now provides more than 30,000 program activities to over 52,000 participants.
