The Managing Members at Vallit Advisors are pleased to announce that the firm has registered the Vallit Advisors logo as a trademark with the federal government. This was an important step for our firm as it continues to grow and establish its roots, prestige and distinctiveness in the industry and our states of practice including Maryland, D.C. and Colorado.
The U.S. Patent and Trademark Office states that a trademark “includes any word, name, symbol, device, or any combination, used or intended to be used to identify and distinguish the goods/services of one seller or provider from those of others, and to indicate the source of the goods/services.” By obtaining a trademark, Vallit Advisors has now solidified its logo as distinguishable. The trademark also provides exclusive rights to our digital property; it maintains our rights over our logo and other branding collateral and provides our firm the right to pursue legal action in the event that our trademark were to be stolen or infringed upon.
